Summary Role: Sculptor creates three-dimensional forms to communicate impressions or ideas by carving or modeling materials such as wood, stone, clay or metal and assembles sculptural pieces using found or manufactured materials. This occupation requires high levels of creative talent or personal commitment and interest as well as, or in place of, formal qualifications or experience.
Skill level: This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
