Business Model Innovation is essential for driving a company's competitive advantage and is becoming increasingly important as a way of creating and capturing value. Companies or Statutory Corporations that do not continue to innovate and improve their products or services get stagnant and are at risk of being overtaken by its competitors and become less profitable. Companies or Statutory Corporations that want to become and remain leaders in their industry must innovate.  

One Day Workshop 

The Alphabeti will conduct a one day intensive programme that will help participants and their companies learn how to develop, evaluate and scale new business models inside their company.  The overall goal of the session is to assist participants develop an innovative business model mock-up for their organisation, using business model innovation frameworks and tools.  As such, this intensive session offers the foundation in understanding and developing new business models, which is becoming increasingly relevant in established companies and new start ups, in developed and developing countries.  

Session Objectives 

This one day intensive programme will inspire and motivate participants to rethink and reshape their business assumptions and strategies. Participants will learn: 

  • new concepts in business model innovation and open innovation strategies and,  

  • how to apply appropriate business models in a corporate context.

The session will help Senior Managers/Executives, Middle Managers and Entrepreneurs to implement fresh thinking within their organization, to help prepare for and capitalise on volatile and uncertain conditions in tough economic times.

Dr. Marcel Bogers is Associate Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Copenhagen. He is an expert in the design, organisation and management of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Bogers’ recognized excellence in research and teaching has taken him around the globe to participate in various academic and corporate events.
