Goods for Good is seeking experienced professionals to contribute their high level of expertise to the organization and its programs through the following positions:


Position: Driver

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Job Category: Full-time

Period: 3 years Contract 

Reports to: Program Administrator

Language(s): English, Chichewa



The driver is responsible for ensuring the delivery of all Program activities ensuring smooth logistics for staff, partners and property. Specific duties and responsibilities are:

  • Driving and carrying out assignments and tasks as directed by the supervisor
  • Ensure that the assigned vehicle is tidy and road worthy
  • Providing travel and journey information to assigned personnel
  • Providing vehicle fuel utilization and maintenance report
  • Meet senior official personnel and visitors at the airport and may assist with basic Visa and customs formalities and arrangements when required
  • Ensure that vehicles are kept in good running condition at all times through addressing minor repairs, making arrangements for major repairs and car washing
  • Ensure availability of all the required documents including vehicle registration, vehicle insurance and vehicle logs



  • Possession of a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
  • Possession of Clean and valid driving license
  • Attended and successfully completed defensive driving courses (include certificates)
  • Five years working experience in a busy organization
