Job Description

JOB TITLE: Engineering Store Keeper

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager


Job Summary


We are currently in need of an experienced Engineering Store Keeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for storekeeping, documentation & record keeping.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan the storeroom layout for efficient order picking and inventory care.
  • Provide inventory report on time.
  • Manage the process to refine and control slow-moving parts as well as obsolete part removal.
  • Monitor min/max levels and order point information.
  • Coordinate activities with maintenance/Production to ensure high support for maintenance activities.
  • Taking physical inventory to cross-check with the monthly inventory report.
  • Provide monthly consumption of spare reports to the maintenance manager.
  • Become familiar with plant equipment.
  • Weekly requisitioning of materials required to maintain a minimum stock level.
  • Ensure indents are raised & proper documentation is completed on a timely basis for requisition of items.
  • To ensure recording of the necessary data in ledger and computer on time.
  • Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy at all times

Employment Status: Full-time

Qualification:
  • Grade 3 certificate in Electrical must be familiar with Electrical/Mechanical Accessories.
  • Good Microsoft office software skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Additional Requirement: Age 20 to 34 years

Salary: Negotiable
