We are a Christian mission focused on relief and development located in Bangula, Nsanje. Our aim is to extend the Kingdom of God by feeding the poor, caring for the widow, and being a father to the fatherless.
We’re looking for a strong financial administrator to join our vibrant community, and we hope our search ends with you.
This is a multi-faceted role, with a priority on the financial administration of our ministry.
You’ll handle our complex financial reporting. We have individuals, NGOs, and organizational partners that donate to us in their native currencies. Our parent ministries receive complete financial reporting from us, presented to them in their own currencies and according to their preferences. Your strong financial acumen and savvy with QuickBooks will be crucial.
You’ll oversee our annual and monthly taxes and manage our bank accounts.
Some human resources functions are included in this role as well. You’ll manage our payroll of around 100 employees, administer our pension fund, oversee performance management, and liaise with a lawyer and the labour office to keep us legally compliant. If you don’t have extensive experience with HR, we’ll train and support you as you learn this side of the role.
While the range of responsibilities is wide, you won’t be working alone. You’ll have a team of two skilled administrative people supporting you. They’re eager, and will value your experience, example, and mentorship.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working in Bangula. You’ll work 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Salary for this role will be between 250,000 MWK and 400,000 MWK gross per month, and commensurate with experience. We also offer pension, life insurance, a company medical support plan, and vacation that will be negotiated based on your experience.
