MHEST is a new charity working in partnership with Maternity Worldwide and Zomba DHO. We believe in working with others to enhance our collective impact and deliver cost effective interventions to promote wellbeing of vulnerable people including children and youths.
In shaping our strategy, MHEST recognizes a gap in the programming for vulnerable urban children and youths which we are keen to address; especially those who have dropped out of school, have left their homes and are in the streets, in constant exposure to hunger, violence, drugs and substance abuse. We envision that every child, regardless of their geographical location, social status, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion and age have equal opportunity to access health care, education and social protection”.
To this end, we are looking for exceptionally skilled, passionate and highly motivated young people in Zomba to volunteer with us for a fixed period of 6 months and support the delivery of an exciting project on vulnerable urban youths and children in Zomba.
