Job Description
The Accountant (will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and management accounting functions.
Key duties include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of quarterly management reports and regulatory returns
- Review of monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Preparation of annual budgets, projections, and financial forecasts
- Day-to-day oversight of the finance function
- Monitoring and control of expenditure in line with approved budgets
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Preparation and filing of all statutory tax returns
- Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Coordination of internal and external audits and implementation of audit recommendations
Required Qualifications
Final stage student of ACCA, CIMA, or ICAM professional qualification
Qualified accountants will have an added advantage
