Job Description

Life Care Foundation-Malawi (LCFM) is a non-profit organization (NGO) established in 2015 to support the Malawi Government and its citizens to improve living conditions of poor and vulnerable population. LCFM focuses on creating community based programs in rural communities to bridge existing gaps in education, health, food security, community development, especially among women, children, girls, elderly including people living with HIV and AIDS. LCFM build capacity of rural communities to implement sustainable community based education, agricultural, and health projects that promote gender equality and improve household incomes for poor families. Recently, LifeCare Foundation established a Medical Clinic called LifeCare Medical Center to serve Malawians living in both rural and urban areas through healthcare delivery. We believe in providing quality healthcare services for all. LifeCare Medical Center is currently looking for well qualified individuals to fill up the following open positions:


Job Title: Administrative and Finance Assistant



Reporting To: Hospital Administrator

Location: LifeCare Medical Center-Chigumula

PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the job is to ensure that the clinic is gaining its clients/patients satisfaction through its front desk. Ensuring that clinic staffs are provided with necessary updated information, proper documentations, records, data and required resources to support the technical team. Ensuring that financial paper work and management are up to date.

DUTIES

  • Receiving patients, clients and customers and record their data in the database system.
  • Handling finances and its related paper work
  • Provide technical staffs with all required and necessary information, supplies, equipment and resources for their work.
  • Receiving and making phone calls, typing, photocopying, printing, binding.
  • Processing, making orders and preparing procurement paper work
  • Producing weekly reports, preparing and writing minutes
  • Preparing staffs schedule and booking appointments
  • Conducting inventory and record items in fixed assets register
  • Budgeting 
  • Any other duties deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
 
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills, and financial experience
  • Excellent in English language both written and oral
  • Minimum of advance diploma in Administration and finance
  • Previous experience in front office, finance and administration
  • Honest, fast learner, multi-skilled and talented
  • Females are highly encouraged to apply
  • Time management person
  • Excellent skills in customer care services
