Job Description

The Hunger Project Malawi (THP-MW), a non-governmental organization committed to the sustainable end of hunger and poverty through empowerment of the rural poor communities to lead lives of self-reliance, is currently working in seven districts in Southern and Central Malawi. We have vacant position of ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY at our Lilongwe Office.

Reporting to The Head of Finance & Administration, the job entails among others:

  • Providing Secretarial support to the office of the Country Manager (CM),
  • fully manning the reception area, providing secretarial services to the organization,
  • facilitating maintenance of office equipment,
  • providing support as a point person for office administrative needs, and
  • maintain a safe-workable and empowering office space.

The ideal candidate:

  • Be mature and of high integrity, with uncompromised excellent computer skills including use of internet, power point and social networks like skype and administration and secretarial credentials, and
  • should have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
