Job Description


Tingathe is a local Non Governmental Organization with a mission to work with vulnerable out of school youth between the ages of 18- 30 in peri-urban areas.

Tingathe partners with communities to build wealth and well being that sticks. Tingathe's holistic vocational training programme combines training in marketable skills such as Carpentry and Joinery, Cosmetology, Tailoring and Design, Agribusiness, Arts and Crafts, Creative Painting, and Hospitality and Service Management.

Additionally, Tingathe has flagship programs that combine knowledge courses in Sexual Reproductive Health, Human rights and responsibilities, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, and physical well being through Yoga and Capoeira.

Tingathe also enhances and supports community resilience in growth centered business management and financial literacy programme for youth and single mothers, and life skills training is a cross cutting theme that features community training and engagement.


Skill-Up! is a global program running in 8 countries across Africa and Asia with the overall objective of contributing to the improved living conditions (livelihood) of the youth in urban areas aged 15 to 30 by offering market driven and innovative non-formal Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET). The project is being implemented in Malawi by Tingathe a local NGO in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) as the donor partner.

The project is aimed at benefiting youth in the catchment areas of Mtandile, Mtsiriza, Piyasoni, Njewa, Airwing, Mgona, Senti, Kauma, area 49, area 50 and area 51 for a span of three years.


Tingathe is therefore calling for interested and qualified candidates to assist in its Market Study research.


Location: Lilongwe

Minimum Qualification: A University Degree from an accredited and recognized University.

Duration of Market Study: 9 Days

Location of Study: Lilongwe
