Job Description

FJ Investments Limited is a newly Malawian registered General Trading Company with main interest in buying and selling of Agricultural Commodities and is headquartered in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the positions below tenable at various places in the Country.

The candidates should be self-starter, results oriented, honest and with highest personal integrity.


POSITION: LOGISTICS AND WAREHOUSE OFFICER (1 POST)

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arranging and allocating vehicles for goods transportation
  • Ensuring that all goods are transported timely and in good condition
  • Ensuring that all vehicles have the necessary supporting documents when travelling outside Malawi
  • Liaising with boarder official for clearing of all goods
  • Keeping records of all goods coming in and out of the warehouse
  • Ensuring that goods in the warehouse are safe and in good condition
  • Loading and dispatching goods from the warehouse
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of Diploma in Logistics and Supply/Business Administration
  • More than 2 years’ experience in managing large fleets and warehouse operations
  • Good knowledge of book and record keeping
  • Experience in working with Commodity Trading Company will be an added advantage
  • High level of integrity and able to work under pressure.
