SOLICITATION FOR USAID PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, OFFICE OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH, USAID/MALAWI
This position is based in Lilongwe and is open to Qualified Malawian Citizens.

BASIC FUNCTION
This position is located in the Sustainable Economic Growth Office at USAID/ Malawi, Lilongwe. The incumbent is expected to provide leadership in activity development, implementation and monitoring as well as one of the Mission’s COR/ AOR for Intermediate Results under the current Development Objective 2: Sustainable Livelihoods Improved (and the future Development Objective 3: Private Sector Increases Inclusive and Sustainable Wealth Creation). This is a complex DO that requires close and constant coordination with a number of USAID implementing partners. He/she is also expected to develop and maintain an extensive range of professional contacts and policy dialogue with senior government officials, NGO community, civic organizations, the private sector, and other agriculture sector donors. May on occasion serve as acting Team Leader in the absence of the Team Leader.

Salary range: $26,567-$41,183 (annual basic salary paid in local currency Kwacha at the prevailing exchange rate), equivalent to FSN-11.
