Receptionist (Temporary)

Job Description

A Receptionist at our Client's Head Office in Kanengo, Lilongwe will defintely be away for sometime. We need a short term cover. The Client is an international Tobacco Company.

We are therefore looking for a pleasant and energetic person to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties for the Head Office in Lilongwe. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined to handle administrative tasks. A customer-oriented approach is essential as the goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Are you the right candidate?  We hope you are.  You must have the following:

  • Proven experience as front desk person or relevant position
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Word)
  • A minimum of a Business Administration Diploma or related equivalent.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. PABX, Computer.)
  • Proven experience as front desk person or relevant position
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
