Job Description

Applications are invited from suitable well-qualified and experienced person for the positions of Receptionist/Sales  Assistant to be based at our Lilongwe Kitchen studio to complement the already existing team in our  Sales department.

Position:   Receptionist/Sales  Assistant


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell and market kitchens, and furniture (both local and imported)
  • Prepare quotations for customers
  • Manage existing and new customers
  • Prepare a realistic budget for the department
  • Provide market intelligence to the company
  • Assist customers on the shop floor
  • Handle Customer issues/complaints
  • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails
  • Covers reception duties
  • Manages filing for the shop


Qualification and Experience

  • Must have a Diploma with 5 years’ experience or Degree in 3 years’ experience in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of furniture and kitchens will be an added advantage


Skills and Knowledge

  • Must be computer literate especially Microsoft word and excel
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Communication skills and networking ability
  • Adaptability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning
  • Creativity and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness
