Job Description

Instant Connections is looking for an experience Sales and Marketing Executive tenable at its offices in Lilongwe.


POSITION: SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE


Under the general supervision of the Managing Director the Sales and Marketing Executive shall be expected to perform marketing and sale related works as follows:

  • Come up with sales and marketing plans for implementation.
  • Sale the company’s products and ensure that company customer base increases.
  • Maintain customer focussed viewing service for customer’s sustainability on the available schemes.
  • Provide first-response and follow-up help desk services over the phone and by remote desktop support; monitor all open incidents, regardless of assignment
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements are met which may include providing on-call support and visit customers regularly.
  • Develop and maintain sales cash flows to ensure that forecast sales targets are met.
  • Make frequent visits to clients and make an after service verification, clients need specifications and make implementable programs.
  • Support the relationship between the company and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors, the public, and staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and company information.
  • Ensure that all “offers” with regard to market sales are managed in accordance with the approved Sales and Marketing Strategy process.
  • Come up with new clients on daily basis giving report on the same.

The Sales and Marketing Executive shall among other accountabilities:
  • Ensure that invoices, quotations and job cards are filed and secure.
  • Ensure that invoices that are due are paid on time, hence shall be required to collect payments, deposit to the advised bank account.
  • Ensure that all rentals and utilities are paid time on time for the offices.
  • Ensure that all operational and technical material purchases and stocks are bought and channelled through your office.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS.
  • A minimum of University degree plus two years’ experience in Sales and Marketing

or
  • Relevant Diploma preferably in the field of Sales and Marketing with Five years’ experience.
  • Other relevant certification in the field of sales and marketing.

TECHNICAL SKILL:
  • Organizing with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment, wisdom, common sense, and initiative.
  • Using initiative, discretion, and judgment within established procedures guidelines and rules.
  • Defining problems; establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Reading and understanding technical manuals.
  • Numerate and with computer literacy.
  • Customer focussed with excellent time management, able to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication skills required orally and written with excellent administration skills
