Job Description
The Supermarket Buyer will be responsible for managing product sourcing, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and purchasing operations to support efficient retail performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and purchase products from local and international suppliers
* Negotiate pricing and supplier contracts
* Monitor stock levels and replenishment
* Analyse sales trends and customer demand
* Identify new products and market opportunities
* Work closely with inventory, finance, and operations teams

Required Qualifications
* Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
* Experience in retail purchasing or supermarket buying is an advantage
* FMCG experience
* Knowledge of local supplier networks
* Familiarity with ERP or stock management systems
