Job Description

Lafarge Cement Malawi Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated team players and result driven candidate to fill the following position:


Within the framework of the Company’s objectives and yearly action plans, his responsibility will be:

  • Supervision of receiving and dispatch of cement stocks in the warehouse by following warehouse operations procedures.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with stock movement system.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient loading of customers’ vehicles in liaison with the Loading Contractor.
  • Supervise contractors in the warehouse.
  • Initiate movement of stocks into the warehouse to avoid stock outs through warehouse stock requests forms.

  • Efficient customer service.
  • Ensure proper inventory control in the warehouse.
  • Accurate receiving and dispatching of stocks.
  • Adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Weekly and monthly stock reporting.
  • Ensure proper space utilisation in the warehouse.

  • Advanced Diploma in CIPS or Stores Management.
  • Technical skills in cement warehouse management preferable
