Job Description

Urgently looking for an HR officer tenable in Blantyre.

 

Position: Human Resources Officer

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper filing of employee personal files
  • Manage HR database
  • Maintain an up to date archiving system for all personal records
  • Check and verify monthly payroll
  • Maintain staff insurance records
  • Manage staff welfare
  • Maintain daily attendance records for employees
  • Assist in staff recruitment
  • Conducting interviews when HRM is not present
  • Advise and direct Management on Industrial Relations issue
  • Handle administration issues for the organization


Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Human Resources and Administration
  • With a minimum experience of 5 years or degree with 3 years experience with a busy organisation

 
Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, e word and excel
  • Thorough understanding of Malawi Labours Laws
  • Ability to interact with staff at al levels and possess of conflict management and problem –solving skills
  • Must have people management technics
  • Must possess interpersonal skills
  • Must have effective organizational skills
  • Must have meticulous
